  1. Great, Joyce! I'm a cookbook fanatic!

  2. Hi Joyce, I have been trying and sharing so many recipes from cookbooks, magazines and even TV Cook Shows with CYB. Just wondering if this action is considered as Infringement of Copyright like what some ppl may claim even when credit is given to the source.

    1. Hi Kimmy,
      Copyright of recipes is really very confusing. I have read from somewhere that by listing the ingredients is Ok, as that is considered a list, but to copy word for word as far as the instructions are concerned, that is another matter. If you feel uncomfortable about publishing the recipes, you can always name the source but do not include the recipes in your post, or rewrite the instructions in your own words. A tough decision to make!
      Perhaps by reading this info, would help you decide what's best for your blog ;

      I really appreciate all the sharing and linking of your posts to CYB!

    2. Thanks Joyce, I believe different ppl interpret this matter differently basing on situations. I normally rewrite and do not follow exactly cos' I like to simplify the methodology basing on my experience so that it is much easier for ppl to follow if they like to try it out. Recording and sharing a workable recipe without the methods and steps is quite meaningless esp. when the purpose of writing this blog is to record my cooking and baking adventures for future referencing. Not to worry, I will carry on with my adventures cos' I really have lots of recipes from my collection to try and share, hehehe!

  3. Joyce I added my waltnut kuchen recipe!
